When you visit any grocery, hardware or big retail store, buried in the back of the pet food section you’ll find some inexpensive wild bird seed that might look pretty good in the package. However, what you don’t know is that most discount seed is full of cereal grains and fillers that birds won’t eat, like milo, wheat, oats, barley, flax, rapeseed/canola. You also don’t know how long that seed has been sitting around.

Each of our blends is locally selected to meet the regional and seasonal needs of the birds. We do not include filler grains like oats, wheat and milo that decrease the price per pound of a mix, because these filler seeds are less attractive (or not attractive) to birds. Because there is no wasted seed, our blends actually end up costing less to use while attracting more of the birds that you want to watch.

WBU No-Mess Blend NM CD: No shells. No mess. 100% edible. This new blend contains more peanuts and has added calcium to help bone development and egg production. Being millet free ensures it flows easily through your feeders and discourages unwanted ground birds, as very little makes it to the ground from the feeder. WBU No-Mess Blends are great near flower beds, patios and decks. Our unique No-Mess Blend bird seed features seeds that have had their shells removed, so only the meat of the seed is left. No hulls on the seeds makes for tidier feeding, since there's no debris on the ground to clean up.
