Sales Associate (Part-Time)
We are currently looking to fill a sales associate position and a receiver position. These positions are part-time with 10-20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on products offered, and providing excellent sales service
- Ability to learn and share the expertise of products and backyard birds
- Stocking and maintaining the cleanliness of the sales floor and backroom
- Receiving, opening, and stocking product deliveries
- Contributes to a positive and inclusive work environment
- Using POS system (training provided) and other computer applications
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Previous retail experience an asset
- Ability to work a flexible schedule of days/weekends
- Ability to use computers and software applications
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must have an interest in nature and wildlife
